Oliver Holt worked as a news reporter on the Liverpool Daily Post for three years before joining The Times as Motor Racing Correspondent and covered the death of Ayrton Senna and Damon Hill's world championship victory. Appointed Football Correspondent in 1997, he was promoted to Chief Sports Correspondent earlier this year. This will be his first Olympics.
