SHOOTING FOR GOLD
Slovenia picked up only their second Olympic gold medal when Rajmond Debevec set two Olympic records in the men's free rifle final.
Debevec set an Olympic record of 1177 in qualifying and an overall record score of 1275.1 on his way to the medal, with Juha Hirvi of Finland second and Norway's Harald Stenvaag in third.
In the skeet, gold went to the Ukraine's Mykola Milchev with silver for Petr Malek of the Czech Republic. American James Graves finished third.
